ARTBURST_Colour and Line: Turner´s Experiments.

An interactive display in the Clore Gallery, TATE BRITAIN (2 May 2007  –  30 April 2012)

Not only did Joseph Mallord William Turner (1775–1851) opened the doors to abstract expressionism through his painting, but he anticipated B/W photograph through his prints as well.

Some interesting ideas to keep on working on ourselves:

From figurative to abstract painting. From descriptive to expresionism. From colour shadows to black lines.
