It will take a while until we get used to it, but its a real change for DC. Just in time to go along with the reboot.

PULP AFFECTION_Batwoman ELEGIA
by J. H. Williams III
As a perfect counterpart for our recent post, "from colur to lines experiments" one of the best comics we´ve read in decades.
One of the few graphic novels starred by female hero strong enough to compete with the testosterone area of DC comics and alikes.

We are interested in:
- Regarding the art, we are vey interested in J. H. Williams III work. From B/W watered down inks and watercolurs to the amazing final result via digital process.
- Completely new approach to page composition, including the shape of the frames as an additional layer of meaning to the story and the character background. Splash page as a narrative constant.
- Custom made typography, as an extension of the art and the story mood, sometimes located in least-to-be-expected places.
If you don´t have enough, BW has started a brand new line on her own...
